Mission Center Construction -
The construction has started and the trailers have been moved. During the construction of the New Mission Center, please be cautious while walking and driving around the Parish.  Heavy equipment will be moving about the area until construction has been completed.

Posted 12/08/08 --We have made good progress with the Planning & Building Department. There has been a meeting and many telephone conversations to resolve the outstanding issues. We are optimistic and hopeful that by the time you read this update that the Building Permit will have been issued. Please continue to pray for a successful conclusion for the Design /Permit process and the startup of the construction process.

We are waiting for the Building Department to complete their review of our last submission. The Plan Check Engineer has estimated that she will complete the review by November 24. Please continue to pray for a successful conclusion to the Design /Permit process and a successful startup of the construction process.

The Mission Center Project is in the final phase of the Design/ Building Permit Process. The final design drawings were submitted to the Building Department on September 12. We have asked the Building Department Plan Checker to release the necessary permits that will allow us to do the underground utilities work, to build a 3 foot retaining wall which is located by the sidewalk on the north side of the building and to build the foundation and slab for the building. We anticipate that we will have the necessary permits by the time you are reading this article. You should begin to see activity in the construction area at the end of this coming week or beginning of next week.

The Design Team is working hard to have our responses ready to submit to the Building Department by Friday October 24. After the review of our responses by the Plan Check Engineer I estimate that we should be able to have the Building Permit by Nov 7.  Construction will begin soon after this date. Please pray for the successful conclusion for the Design/Permit process.

Our Need:

  • Relocate offices for priests and staff when forced to eliminate trailers
  • Creatively accommodate growth and overcrowding
  • Meet the needs of youth, teens, and adults of all ages who choose to worship at St. Francis
  • Meeting these needs will deepen our relationship with Christ and each other
  •   Our Opportunity:

  • Expand our worship space with a seat for everyone - from 450 seats up to 1000
